One athlete saved a set at 400 lbs instead of 40, corrected it, and the 400-lb 1RM stayed anyway. It had to be fixed by hand. That bug kicked off this release, and while we were in the Session Tracker we made the whole set-saving flow clearer.
Saving a set: one button, no guessing
The keypad now tells you exactly which set you’re entering: the exercise, “Set 2 of 3”, and a strip of every set with the current one marked. One Save set button logs it. The old Confirm button, which only filled in the numbers without saving, is gone.
To change a set you’ve already saved, tap its numbered chip on the card. The keypad that opens looks clearly different: it reads “Editing set 2”, shows what was saved, and its button says Update set 2.
A receipt on the rest screen
After every set, the rest screen shows what you just saved, for example “Set 2 · 70lbs × 10”. Its Fix button opens that set for correction while the rest timer keeps running.
After the last set of an exercise, the app moves on as before. The rest screen now also offers One more set of [exercise] if you want to add one.
Every past session, not just last time
Tap the new clock icon next to an exercise to see every session where you did it, newest first. Each one shows the date, the sets, and where the exercise fell in that workout. Today’s sets stay pinned at the top for comparison. Turn on Show estimated 1RM to add an estimate to each session; sessions that set a new 1RM get a green badge.
Discard a session you didn’t mean to start
Opened the wrong workout, or tapped Start by accident? Ready to wrap up? now has a way out. If nothing’s been logged, Discard is the main button. If you’ve already logged sets, a small Discard session link asks you to confirm first. Your coach is never told a discarded session was completed.
1RMs that follow your corrections
A 1RM estimated from a session is now calculated from the sets actually saved in it. Correct a set and the 1RM is updated or removed. Discard the session and its 1RMs go with it. 1RMs saved before this update don’t change, so correct any old typo on the athlete’s Strength dashboard in Smagpie.
Updates arrive on their own
When we release a new version, the Session Tracker now offers to reload. It won’t interrupt you during an active session; the offer waits until you leave the session screen.
Athletes: next time you train, save your first set and look at the rest screen. That receipt is your chance to catch a typo before it counts.
